Raya Holiday Treat

Holiday is always the best remedy for workaholics.

Lucky for me, I got total 4 days off to go somewhere to chill. When I say chill, Genting is just the right place. It would be great if I can get a room there, but who knows it's fully booked.

IT'S THE 1ST DAY OF RAYA, YOU KNOW?!

Just don't know why all the malay's go Genting during Hari Raya, not that they can gamble *hmph

As I'm staying in Wangsa Maju, the route started from Wangsa Maju, took LRT train to Gombak Station, purchased the Genting Package there, and get ride on bus. Normally, the price is RM35 each person, but too bad its public holiday, so we had to pay RM39 for the seasonal price. :( The bus journey wasn't that bad, except for the sit, it's broken! I can't sleep at all omg...

I Googled to obtain weather forecast of the place. It says sunny and cloudy, which is true! Another useful tips for trips :D

F.Y.I., Genting Package inclusive a substitution of free Theme Park access or Buffet meal in the coffee house. Before that, we planned not to go any recreations, because of timely manner, but we were also having thoughts that the food might be suck in the coffee house...

which is so not true~!

Coffee Terrace

Coffee Terrace is an all-day-dining restaurant. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner with fusion selection.

Various selection, I feel the seduction :p

Every section is just so tempting, you can't help yourself keep trying these and that. People must be wondering "Wuah, so nice, must be very expensive lo....".

As mentioned earlier, we had a choice, either Theme Park or Buffet Meal. Obviously, we took Buffet Meal. Curiously, I wanted to know the price for the buffet so badly. So I peeked at the price tag board...

O.o""

For this price, we got for free?! EAT ALL WE CAN, YES WE CAN!

Of course we can, until I got digestive problem.

I didn't get to eat much, but still I feel uncomfortable with the stomach, felt like it's going to burst omg! Later then, ENO saved my day :D

*content*

Right get rid of the uncomfortable, we continued with the sugar coated cotton candy. Apparently, Ahu (guy next to me) behaved like a 10 years old kid. *giggled*

Scary bears playing music with the instruments

4 of us

We played hide & seek :p

We did cam-whores

We went shopping (Lots of great deal, Irresistible)

It just so good that you go on a trip with great buddies. They didn't get bored, I didn't yawn during the trip, and we laughed out from our lungs!

Before we depart, we spent time in Starbucks. Holding a cup of hot chocolate in such cold weather, it's blissful :) The another cam-whore session :p

Later then, they tired

Not so bad for a day trip. Will consider to go again, as if I got holiday lah :D

Merdeka Break

The day wasn't so bad, at least it is a good holiday break for me.

I had a date with friends and ex-colleagues, but yet still friends lah. I took the journey all the way down to Subang Jaya for Bah Kut Teh and some snowy shave Ice thingy.

Ming Hai was so addicted to it that he used all his sales skills to promote this dessert shop. Never try never know, so we all hit it a try. Resulted, it was OoooKaayyyy only. For me, it was too icy, basically you're just eating ice instead of the condiments. Who knows, maybe its the one I ordered got problem :s

Apparently, we had moments, a loooong conversation throughout the lunch. It was just a small confession of how things going on during my internship, and a bit here and there.

Grateful to say that I have friends, true-heart friends giving me lots of advice and courage during your hard time.

On my way back home, I was still having these thoughts and musing, recalled back to the advices on career wise from them. Unintentionally, I was all the way down to Jusco to get something, and my mind was spining around, then I stopped............

infront of the Sanitary pads section, for like 1 minute. Initially, the sales girl was tapping the price tag that time, with weird eyesight looking at me.

See, the power of friend's influential

2 Mandarin Oranges From Maldivians

Afternoon class, was boring rather sleepy *yawn

I saw my Maldivian classmates came into class late, with big bags plastic. With my intelligence and my logical sense, I can tell its 2 boxes of Mandarin Oranges, you know the one we usually eat during Chinese New Year. So I myself thought they bought for their friends or neighbors.

Break time, I came back from toilet and saw them talking something. My curiosity leads me the way, approached to them and asked:

Me: "Hey guys, you all love Mandarin Orange?"
Yamani: "Yeah"
Me: "Wow, you got 2 boxes, are those for you?"
Yamani: "No, its for you guys, all the classmates"
Me: "Huh ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

Okay, at first I thought it was just a joke. Just right before we call it a day, they came to front and greet us "Happy New Year" with from the bottom of their hearts, then distribute 2 Mandarin Oranges to each of us. I was like so touched, its not always you see classmates being so .... so ..... ah I don't know what word can be described, nice? Nice knowing that they were being so considerate, by giving us 2 Mandarin Oranges, which means bring good fortune in new year.

Talking bout they being nice, its been so fun to have Maldivians in our class, cherish the moment, and never let the fun goes away during classes. Apparently it is their study culture, they sing, they dance, and they steal things study (thinking of Jason Mraz - I'm Yours =p). Friendliness has changed and widen my perspective towards international study, I see happiness shining brightly from them =D

I myself flowing Chinese blood inside of my body, always only think of myself and almost neglected the meaning of sharing caring. We as a Chinese has not do any thing but the Maldivians, they do not celebrate CNY but still they are adapting to our culture.

Okay this is no any advertorial or others intention. I'm doing this just because I appreciated to have such nice friends like them.

I love you guys so much that I can't tell more =D

Attending a funeral tomorrow

What should I wear for a formal funeral, I wonder?

In chinese, they have strong superstition, that everyone who's going to attend the funeral should go for Black, at least something with dark color. Guess what, I've got plenty of it.

as a reminder from my mother: No blinky, kinky, bright-bright stuff !

I've been once to a formal-like-funeral, and Henry was his name, a highschool friend of mine. The situation was so tense, people holding the joss stick, running ceremony, expression of grief and so on ... Frankly speaking, I don't feel comfortable being in such.

Its all about respect the unfortunate one, family's, and not breaking rules.

Now the question is, should my thoughts stick with superstition or make myself ease and comfort?

It's Hard To See A Friend Down

The first word I heard when I woke up this morning is:

“阿龙爸爸死了哦!” mum said

I was still in monday blues. I texted to Dick, and he thought it was a joke... After the confirmation of the death of his father, we went to pay Loong's family a visit, to show our condolence.

Everyone looks so gloomy. Once I gently patted on his shoulder, tears started falling. I never seen Loong cry so serious, I felt the sorrow ...

I just being tense in this kind of situation, I never had this before.

“我到的时候,他已经断气了。。。”Loong crying and mumbling the words out.
I shed my tears.

Hang-out Thoughts

I hang-out alot since I got back my hometown - sabah.

The first day I landed KK, straight away I met up my highschool friends, how pathetic =s. Almost everyday I'm craving for hang-out. Go here and there, like money come from nowhere.

Although we were crap talkers, at least we do care.

While enjoying the precious moment with others, thought this is going to be forever, keep in touch with each other like UHU gam sticking every single one of us.

Who knows, just one spell, we have to seperate again. Far far away like this were their last footprints left here.

Nevertheless, we had fun. I hate the first feeling when it comes to say goodbye, but now I know we are shading under the same clouds, always. Heavy cloud's gone, hello brightly days!

Go far and fly high, my friends. All the best to y'all.
(who I dedicated this to, I wonder? =D)

Another Gathering

*updated - thanks to Alison for the pictures

Time: 2pm (and i was late 30mins. sorry~)
Venue: Carls Jr., Sunway Pyramid
Participants: (from the left) Philip, Alison, Remie,
Khai Weng and GF, Li Ling, Ai Fei,
and Uncle Bunny Paul Ngu

Another gathering together with my high school friend, but this time most of them are from Intellectual class and I was the only one from Class B. *sad

I still remember there was always a gap between them and our class, like sister and brother, dogs and cats, Hillary and Obama ... (okay this gone a lil' bit too much, I know~). Argument is always there, but everything seems fine after we gone through so much wind rain thunder lightning. Not to forget that we were under the same hut ^^

We actually met each other at Carl's Jr. on time, but I was late for no excuse hehe. A little bit of small talk and recall back everything in high school, then we went on a movie.

"Definitely, Maybe" a brilliant love story. Girls, prepare your tissue.

10 minutes before the movie starts, we played games in the recreational. I have no intention to play game, cause its only 10 minutes. But guess what those guys can do in short few minutes?

they were so enjoyed fight with each other,
and they successfully captured people's attention haha

WATCH IT! OR ELSE YOU'LL MISS OUT THE FUNNY PART!

Movie's over. We were supposed to go for window shopping, but they all persuasively bring me to Subway (a fast food corner) to take my breakfast (the time is 6pm something).
Thank you so much Bunny Paul for the little "persuasion".

Subway Club Sandwich, the half loaf for my breakfast + Lunch + dinner

Thousand Island falls onto my pants and THATS BUNNY PAUL'S FAULT!!!

I was so curious, he said there's 4 young girls keep disturbing him,
but now I know why~~~

= IT'S CAM WHORE TIME! =

Alison, the typical vegetarian girl. I'll still be seeing you girl~

Ai Fei I'm gonna miss you~

Li Ling cheer up!

Remie... always not being decent at all

ahh~ finally a good one

Take 1 - Bunny Paul Ngu, so blurry

Take 2 - He's 1 year younger than me, but why everytime when it comes to photo,
HE LOOKS LIKE OBACAN, Sumore with the stiff look omg...

Khai Weng, 10 years see you 10 years never change... I wonder~

and I met her~ she's Khai Weng's Girl (darn I forgot her name >.<)

before we separated. check out what is Li Ling doing out there?

There is hard time when we say Goodbye. we all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere. Together forever, never apart. Maybe distance, but never in heart. See you guys in another gathering, I hope there's another one ?
hehe

*with bless

Oh yeah! Sean Kingston was there in Sunway Pyramid, in one of the pub Coco Banana (just opened), but unfortunately we just passed by...
*sniff *sniff
